I am delighted to welcome you to St Edward’s Sixth Form. Choosing your Sixth Form provision is just the start of an exciting and transformative journey.

The Sixth Form experience shapes the person you will become and informs the next stage of your learning and future career. I am very pleased that St Edward’s Sixth Form is the institution of choice for so many successful students. At St Edward’s Sixth Form, we know that each student is an individual, with their own personal goals and ambitions. We are here to help our students fulfil their academic and career dreams and ensure they are supported to achieve excellence.

As a school-based provision, we are able to know every student well and can support and guide them throughout their Key Stage Five journey. We strive to ensure that all of our students leave our Sixth Form with everything they need to face the challenges of the future as confident and independent young adults. It is an experience that will enable students to go on to study at high quality universities, including those within the Russell Group, or complete Degree Apprenticeships. Our approach to ‘Supported Independence’ will prepare students thoroughly for the next stage of their life.

Joining our successful Sixth Form is not an easy option as you will be challenged, stretched, and expected to learn independently in preparation for life after Sixth Form. You will be expected to work hard, act as role models for younger children and contribute to the wider community. You will be supported by our fantastic staff who have already guided so many to success.
