Biology is the study of living organisms and how these interact with each other and their environments.

It literally means ‘the study of life’! Students will learn about the natural world and all of the living things within it. Biology is an ideal choice if you are interested in the rapidly changing fields of genetics and biotechnology. There has never been a more exciting time to be studying Biology.

Studying A-Level Biology not only provides routes into specific subjects and careers for the future but also gives each student opportunities to gain a wide range of transferable skills such as researching, working with a team,
evaluating information and carrying out data analysis.

ADDITIONAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 6 in GCSE Maths, Grade 6 in GCSE Biology or Grade 6/6 in GCSE Combined Science.
