Girls Uniform

The following items comprise the official school uniform for GIRLS in Years. 7 – 11
BLAZER
Navy Blue with school badge and year flash.  These should be worn to and from school and in school unless advised to the contrary.
SKIRT
Navy Blue uniform skirt, obtainable from school outfitters.  Either, all pleats stitched to hip or double left sided pleat.  No straight skirts or with slits.  No shorter than  (5cm) above the knee and no longer than mid-calf.
TROUSERS
Navy Blue Uniform style only – purchased from Henry Taylor or Havering School Wear – with school identity tag.
BLOUSE
White long sleeved.  Buttoned up to neck.  Plain white ‘T’ shirt may be worn under, if jumper is worn over.
TIE
School tie – only available from the school. Should be worn to and from school and in school.  The school badge must be visible on the tie when it is worn.
JUMPER/
CARDIGAN
Plain navy blue V-Neck. No logo, sweatshirts or hoodies.
SHOES
Plain black, low heeled shoes, no coloured laces. Maximum inside measurement (2.5cm) No plimsolls, trainers, trainer style shoes or boot, sandals, stiletto heels, frills or ankle ties.
SOCKS/TIGHTS
Navy blue knee length socks (not over the knee) or navy blue/black tights. Navy blue socks with trousers.
COAT
Plain dark blue or black. Not leather or denim. No logo. A plain reflective patch is advised for safety reasons, but should not be a logo.
HATS/SCARVES
In severe weather only, black or dark blue pull-on hats – with no logo – may be worn. (Not baseball caps). School scarves – plain dark blue or black.
COSMETICS
No make-up, fake tan, nail varnish or false nails are permitted throughout the school.
HAIR
Hair should be one colour of a natural shade, no extreme hairstyles or colours. Hair must be tidy and kept out of the eyes.  For all practical purposes it should be tied back.  Ribbons, hairbands or clips should be navy blue or black.
JEWELLERY
A small cross or religious medal may be worn but must be unobtrusive. No other jewellery, including friendship bracelets, ear-rings or nose studs are permitted [even with plasters covering] One lapel badge may be worn – either a Christian symbol or organisation badge (School sports awards may be worn in addition).
N.B. All items of clothing should be clearly labelled with student’s name.
