On Thursday 4th January, St Edward’s opened its doors to students who completed their GCSE’s and A-Level exams last summer. The evening was attended by lots of parents and friends of the school, who listened to a presentation from Michaela Thomas-Hanchard. Michaela is one of our past students who went on to study dentistry at university and now works in a number of local practices. Michaela spoke about her experience at St Edward’s,  the support that her teachers provided and the effort she put in to ensure she achieved her goal of becoming aCertifcate Evening dentist. Mr Torn, Deputy Headteacher, spoke about the commitment from our students to their GCSE studies and wished them well with their continued studies this year. Mrs Hart, Head of Sixth Form, shared some of the destinations and career choices of our Year 13 students who are now studying subjects ranging from Architecture to Zoology.  Reverend Mike Power, Chair of Governors, ended the evening with a prayer, spoke of his pride of being involved with the school and wished all students well for the future.
